Lendlease Continues Progress On Tun Razak Exchange Lifestyle Quarter Project In Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur, March 22 – Lendlease has announced that agreements with joint venture partner TRX City Sdn Bhd (TRX City) - an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of the Minister of Finance Inc. Malaysia - to develop the Lifestyle Quarter at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia are now unconditional.

The Lifestyle Quarter is a 17-acre mixed-use development comprising six residential towers (TRX Residences), a luxury hotel, park and new city centre retail mall (The Exchange TRX). The project will be developed in stages through a joint venture with Lendlease owning 60% and TRX City owning 40% of the partnership.  The estimated development end value is expected to be circa RM8 billion (A$2.8 billion).  Additionally, Lendlease is the Development and Construction Manager for the Lifestyle Quarter project.

MITI Makes Its Biggest Appearance At LIMA 2017

Langkawi, Kedah, March 22 - In conjunction with the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA '17) which will be held from 21 to 25 March, 2017, Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) through the National Aerospace Industry Coordinating Office (NAICO) is aggressively promoting the development of Malaysian aerospace industry pursuant to the launching of the Malaysian Aerospace Industry Blueprint 2030 during the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2015 (LIMA’15) two years ago. 

The aerospace industry has been identified by the Government as one of the growth sectors and is given major focus under the country's industrialization & technological development programmes under the Eleventh Malaysia Plan (11MP).

Malindo Air Is First To Fly Boeing 737 Max Aircraft

Langkawi, March 22 - Malindo Air announced yesterday, at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA’17) that it will be the first airline to operate the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft in commercial service.

“Malindo Air is very honoured and proud to be the world’s first carrier to fly passengers on this state-of-the-art innovation,” said CEO of Malindo Air, Chandran Rama Muthy.
