Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus and the ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Malaysia have signed a memorandum of agreement to pave the way for the university’s undergraduates to complete the ACCA professional qualification before they graduate through the ACCA Accelerate Program.
Swinburne Sarawak students majoring in the Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance) can now undertake papers from ACCA, the international professional accountancy body, in the second year of their degree studies under the ACCA Accelerate Program.
In line with its mandate to drive the development of a more robust aviation industry in Malaysia, the Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) released a list of 30 companies who have been approved by the Commission to provide ground handling services in Malaysia. Ground handling services includes, but is not limited to, check-in counter services, baggage handling, catering, ramp handling, and refuelling services.
The following companies are now approved by MAVCOM to perform ground handling services on a commercial basis at specific airports.
Tickets for the 29th SEA Games Kuala Lumpur 2017, including for the official opening and closing ceremonies, will go on sale after Hari Raya celebration this month, Malaysia Organising Committee (MASOC) said on Monday (5 June 2017).
MASOC confirmed that tickets for selected sports will be sold via online, which its Chief Executive Officer Datuk Seri Zolkples Embong said will be affordable to the public.
