Gilda Cosmetic a premium Swedish beauty and skincare brand officially launched their products here in Malaysia at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

Malaysia is the first Asian country to launch Gilda Cosmetic, and Vibrante Essentials Sdn Bhd will be the sole distributor in the country.

“Over the years, Gilda Cosmetic has produced and further developed skincare products with continuously proven high-quality results and have built up a complete product line for total skincare.

“Today, we are very ambitious to sell our skincare line internationally, especially in Asia,” stated founder Gilda Liljeblad Koornstra expressing her enthusiasm about Gilda Cosmetic expanding to Malaysia at the launch.

She further explained that the brand’s broad competence and innovative capabilities have helped them produce scientifically-proven products to effectively treat various skin types and conditions.

“Our products are under continuous development and are based on the latest research findings and this is done in collaboration with leading chemists within cosmetic chemistry and manufacturing of skincare, with our extensive experience and knowledge, we make sure to always be in the frontline with our products.”

The event continued with a presentation by Gilda Cosmetic and an introduction of Gilda Cosmetic’s star products, which includes a Refining Peeling Mask, Vitamin C Super Serum, Anti- Ageing Serum, Perfect Eye Cream, Vitamin A Retinol Emulsion, and Hydra Performance Mask.

Gilda Cosmetic’s skincare line comes with a unique micro-encapsulation system that preserves the freshness of vitamins by isolating them in capsules.

The characteristics of the vitamins can be stored for a long period and tests show that 95- 97 per cent of the fresh, active vitamins ports directly to the skin for lubrication.

Some of the products that are set to be sold and distributed in Malaysia were exhibited and demonstrated at the event.

The Organic Micellar Cleansing Water is a 3-in-1 cleansing water that enables individuals to travel without a toner and it works by effortlessly cleansing skin from makeup and impurities, whilst boosting moisture content.

The Cleansing Oil effectively eliminates surface bacteria, impurities, sebum and makeup without feeling greasy.

The Refining Peeling Mask is a unique triple-acting peel, exfoliator and clay mask in one, it consists of papaya and micro wax beads which bring new life to tired and dull skin and it also has Kaolin, Allantoin and Aloe Vera concentrate makes skin clear and smooth without being dry.

Anti-Ageing Serum is a gel serum that reduces wrinkle depth and offers a mild exfoliation of skin that has the peptides that work synergistically to reduce wrinkles and make the skin appear more relaxed.

The Perfect Eye Cream hydrates the skin around the eyes and prevents fine lines and it visibly reduces dark circles and eye puffiness, in addition to reversing visible signs of photoaging damage.

Additionally, the AHA Lotion is a facial water which gently refines skin texture, binds moisture and rejuvenates skin and it is formulated with natural AHA derived from organic bilberry, sugarcane, sugar, maple, orange and lemon, it minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as provides the skin with optimal hydration.

The event was also held in conjunction with Gilda Cosmetic’s 30th anniversary in beauty and skincare.
