Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad hosted its annual dinner with their business partners, corporate and media friends which was held at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka.
The enchanting dinner was graced by Low Chee Leong where the Board of Directors was at hand to greet the guests and a total of 740 guests attended the event.
In his speech, Kerjaya executive chairman, Datuk Tee Eng Ho welcomed the guests to the Group’s annual dinner and thanked the guests for their presence.
He stressed that despite the challenging market being filled with uncertainties, Kerjaya was able to outperform market’s expectations.
Kerjaya has managed to keep its momentum going as since the beginning of this year, the company has already won two contracts valued at RM435 million, enlarging its already strong outstanding orderbook to RM3.3 billion which will provide clear earnings visibility over the next few years.
Datuk Tee also highlighted the various awards won by the Group over the years due to its commendable deliverables and market recognition.
Notable awards include bagging The Edge Billion Ringgit Club’s Gold award for the highest return to shareholders for the Construction Sector category for two years consecutively, Forbes Top 200 Asia Pacific for the under US$1 billion category and Property Insight’s Best Main Contractor Award.
Additionally, the Group’s Sky88 Johor Project received the Setia Quality Excellence Award with Conquas scores of 81.6 and 83.3 marks in 2017, ranking the second and fourth highest in Malaysia.
In 2018, the Group’s Eco Sky Project received a commendable Conquas score of 83.6 marks which is the highest mark secured in Malaysia under the high-rise building category.
He parted by reminding the company not to rest on its laurel but to strive better.
“To be successful, one should not be complacent. Do not forget that it is easy to be up there, it is harder to maintain that position,” said Datuk Tee.
