KUALA LUMPUR: It was a proud moment for Malaysian edtech company ReSkills, who were honoured with a prestigious academic accolade in the United Arab Emirates recently.
The company was presented with a Best Company Award at a ceremony during the international forum Education 2.0 Conference, which was held at the Intercontinental, Dubai on March 24. Several representatives of the team from Kuala Lumpur were on hand to accept the award.
“This award belongs to our whole team, and our country representatives who have been working tirelessly. We hope to continue doing our best, and we appreciate everyone’s hard work,” said ReSkills CEO Jin Tan.
“We are especially honoured to be representing Malaysia on the global stage, to the show the world that Malaysia is definitely capable of creating top quality educational services. We aim to keep on developing ReSkills and contributing to the Malaysian education industry to truly make a positive global impact.”
Tan was at the Conference as a participant and a speaker, delivering a speech on Educational Technology for Social Change: Affirming Dignity and Achieving Social Justice.
ReSkills Edtech is an online educational platform with a mission of making education accessible and affordable for all. Headquartered in Damansara Jaya, Selangor, it provides a variety of educational products and services, which connect aspiring learners to experienced coaches from all around the world.

Education2.0 Conference is one of the biggest in-person global education leadership conferences in the world. A gathering of the world’s most renowned educationists, EdTech innovators, policymakers, and researchers, its mission is to reimagine education spaces and seek innovative solutions to the most pressing problems impacting learning and teaching on a global level. It took place this year at Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, from May 22-25.
The Best Company Award is presented during the Conference to honour incredible individuals and organizations who have worked tirelessly to reform and improve global education.
