KUALA LUMPUR, 16 December 2020 – Penang’s famous Gurney Drive can pride itself in a refreshing new landmark next year, following the opening of Gurney Walk, slated for October 2021. The project by notable developer, Plenitude Berhad, is poised to be an invigorating social and cultural hub. It aims to bring together the Penang community and its expanding population of discerning consumers in the vicinity, which include tourists, locals and the expatriate community.

Commenting on The Economic Outlook 2021 released by the Ministry of Finance, Ben Thompson, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of people management platform Employment Hero, said the findings called for Malaysian SMEs to remain resilient and prioritise agility by improving their technological capabilities.

Shah Alam, Selangor, 16 December 2020 – Sharp Electronics (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (SHARP) today launched the Malaysia Tabah 2021 initiative to support those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative will raise funds by giving away 2021 desktop calendars for every RM50 of donation received from the public and SHARP’s business partners. The desktop calendars will showcase photos taken during the Movement Control Order (MCO) by various photojournalists from The Star Publications and The Malay Mail.
In previous years SHARP’s annual desktop calendars would feature the company’s products. However, this time round, the company has decided to dedicate the entire calendar year in honour of the country’s various frontliners who have worked tirelessly to protect all Malaysians.
