Malaysia’s first certification programme for technology transfer professionals, the Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP), kicked off with a 3-day workshop on 21st November 2017 at MIGHT Partnership Hub. Funded by the Newton-Ungku Omar Fund, the national initiative was introduced by PlaTCOM Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Agensi Inovasi Malaysia (AIM) with the British Council and Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT) as delivery partners to pave the path in establishing technology transfer as a recognised profession in Malaysia. The programme is also supported by the Innovation and Technology Managers Association (ITMA) of Malaysia. 

Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) released the revised Prospectus Guidelines as part of its on-going efforts to promote informed investment decisions.

These enhancements, among others, include introducing a structured and concise Prospectus Summary not longer than 10 pages at the front of prospectuses and excluding information that is already publicly available to investors. With these, investors will benefit from a more reader-friendly and less cumbersome prospectus.
