{"id":1505,"date":"2026-01-20T17:43:04","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T17:43:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/malaysian-business.com\/wptest\/2026\/01\/20\/airasia-flies-to-hua-hin\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T18:03:32","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T18:03:32","slug":"airasia-flies-to-hua-hin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/malaysian-business.com\/portal\/2026\/01\/20\/airasia-flies-to-hua-hin\/","title":{"rendered":"Airasia Flies to Hua Hin\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AirAsia is set to fly to Hua Hin, Thailand starting May 18 with four times weekly direct flights.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The latest route, operated on flight code AK, marked AirAsia Malaysia\u2019s seventh destination into Thailand, consistent with the airline\u2019s continuous efforts to provide the widest network in Asean and connecting the road less travelled in the region to the world.<\/p>\n<p>Its head of commercial, Spencer Lee said the airline has carried about 1.3 million of guests from Kuala Lumpur to Thailand.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThailand was ranked ninth among the world\u2019s most visited countries by the United Nation\u2019s World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) report published in 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHence, we are positive that Hua Hin will be the new preferred holiday destination and hope that the new route will further contribute to the tourism growth for both cities,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>AirAsia Malaysia currently operates 165 weekly flights one way to Thailand.
