A burger that taste like no other, McDonald\u2019s introduced the Mexicana Chicken Burger, an exotic and tantalising tastes of Latin America as part of McDonald\u2019s annual Discover the World campaign.
The first menu item of the campaign was introduced earlier last month, a Brazilian-inspired Rio Burger.<\/p>\n
This new burger is expected to give Malaysia that extra Latino Kick with their extra-large crispy chicken patty generously drizzled with special tomato mayo and tangy jalapeno sauce for a tinge of spiciness.
The Mexican Chicken Burger is also topped with white cheddar cheese and fresh vegetables, such as red capsicum, lettuce, and tomatoes, all sandwiched between a glazed bun.<\/p>\n
\u201cMexicana Chicken Burger as the second offering under the Discover the World campaign will give fans a glimpse of the tastes of another country, this time Mexico, bringing them beyond the familiar palate of Malaysia,\u201d said McDonald\u2019s Malaysia\u2019s chief marketing officer, Melati Abdul Hai.<\/p>\n
She also added that as what they did with Rio Burger, they want to bring unique and explosive flavours during this journey.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want Malaysians to savour the taste of another country.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Discover the World campaign enables us to bring these exciting international flavours to our restaurants,\u201d she added.
The Mexicana Chicken Burger is retailed at RM12.50 for ala carte and RM15.95 for a medium set.<\/p>\n
Aside from the Mexicana Chicken Burger, McDonald\u2019s is introducing an all-new dual filling dessert, the Strawberry Custard Pie.<\/p>\n
It is a fruity strawberry filling with creamy custard encased in a warm crispy pie and customers can get it for RM3.30.<\/p>\n
Making a return to fans of McDonald\u2019s array of desserts is, the Strawberry Cone.<\/p>\n
