Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) is expected to continue leading the premium automotive segment with the launch of four models in its flagship class, the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class.<\/p>\n
The newly unveiled four variants from the S-class are the S450 L AMG Line, S560 Cabrio, Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe and Mercedes-Maybach S 560.<\/p>\n
As the flagship for the brand, the S-Class family are expected to cater to a wide variety of customers.<\/p>\n
All four models presents luxury through contemporary design, unrivalled appointment and uncompromising exclusivity with intricate craftsmanship using only the finest materials for overall elevation of the motoring experience.<\/p>\n
MBM vice president sales and marketing passenger cars Mark Raine said the S-Class family was the definitive statement of luxury in its purest form for the discerning customers.<\/p>\n

With the highest technological standards, the S-Class family offers such features as Distronic Plus semi-autonomous driving, Air Body Control suspension, a Burmester Surround Sound system, Widescreen Cockpit with Comand Online infotainment.<\/p>\n
The new S-Class is offered in locally-assembled format as an S450 L AMG Line variant, priced from RM699,888.<\/p>\n
The locally-assembled S 450 is powered by a 3.0 litre bi-turbo V6 petrol engine, which was first seen on the W213 E 400 4Matic. The unit is from the same M276 family as the 3.5 litre V6 CGI on the S 400 h, but offers more in the way of output.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the much refined Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is offered in V8-powered S 560 and V12-powered S 650 formats, priced from RM1.4 million<\/p>\n
With Maybach S 560, further individualisation and personalisation available upon request such features as the grille with its vertical struts, optional two-tone paintwork, a selection of 20-inch wheels exclusive to the Maybach.<\/p>\n
