This is also to empower more women to start a career at home and live a sustainable life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Low Ngai Yuen, Executive Director, GEM also shared, \u201cWe would like to bring the idea of sharing home cook meals with public even further by sourcing more home-based chefs and introduce them to this new business model. We want to build an ecosystem that enables everyone to live a better life, especially to those who are from the lower socioeconomic status.\u201d B\u2019Eats is not only keen to play their part in using technology to uplift the B40 entrepreneurs; but also aims to help and introduce the chefs from lower-middle income group an easier and cheaper way to start a business.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the phrase \u201cIts your tummy that we care\u201d pertinently describes the mission and commitment of B\u2019Eats \u2013 to bring quality food to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, there are more than 80 avid chefs part of this venture that serve different cuisines including Western, Chinese, pork-free, Indian, vegetarian, and even Low-Carb for those who are on a diet plan. Chef Kelly Lam, one of the participating chefs, shared, \u201cI always cook for my family, so, why not leverage on this opportunity to share my food with others.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Besides bringing in more meal options to the public, B\u2019Eats has created the opportunity for housewives, retirees, and home-based chefs to spend their time with a better reason.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was introduced by a friend to B\u2019Eats, so, I took a chance to try it, to earn some passive income\u201d, said Chef Anderson. CY Lai further expressed that, \u201cIt is really a place where talent chef meets the foodie. I wish people who love to eat like me gets to enjoy home-cook delights too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>B\u2019Eats has expanded their serving areas across the Klang Valley. While B\u2019Eats aims to provide convenience to the customers, meals ordered will be delivered right to their doorstep within the selected timeslot.
