Petaling Jaya, March 13 – MyCreative Ventures Sdn. Bhd. (MyCreative) has launched Fashion Pitch 5, an initiative to provide fashion enthusiasts the opportunity to pitch their creativity and aspirations to run a fashion business. \u00a0Those selected shall be qualified to apply for loans with MyCreative up to RM2 million each.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Fashion Pitch is held in aid to boost the attractiveness of Malaysia\u2019s fashion industry as well as to increase gross income from Malaysia\u2019s fashion industry to significantly contribute to the country\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n
As MyCreative is also celebrating its fifth (5th) anniversary as well as five successful years of organising its annual event, Fashion Pitch, one selected winner will also be rewarded with RM20,000 cash prize as well as an opportunity to apply for a business loan with MyCreative.<\/p>\n
In the past four years, MyCreative had awarded loans to 12 successful applicants through its fashion pitch such as Pearly Wong, Fern Design, Whimsigirl, Comoddity, Kooshboo, Nelissa Hilman, YII, Tsyahmi, Ezati Amira, United Wood, Variante and Zeve Shoes.<\/p>\n
According to Johan Ishak, the Chief Executive Officer of MyCreative, \u201cWe are expecting more fashion designers to grab this opportunity to kick start their own labels and this time around, we have provided cash prize to add on the perks.\u201d<\/p>\n
Interested applicants must submit their proposals and applications by 6 April 2017. Malaysian citizens who are above 18 years of age are eligible to apply for this competition, while applying candidates must also have the passion for fashion.<\/p>\n
