{"id":2239,"date":"2026-01-20T17:44:17","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T17:44:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/malaysian-business.com\/wptest\/2026\/01\/20\/kfc-malaysia-wins-fourth-consecutive-gold-at-putra-brand\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T18:01:44","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T18:01:44","slug":"kfc-malaysia-wins-fourth-consecutive-gold-at-putra-brand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/malaysian-business.com\/portal\/2026\/01\/20\/kfc-malaysia-wins-fourth-consecutive-gold-at-putra-brand\/","title":{"rendered":"KFC Malaysia Wins Fourth Consecutive Gold at Putra Brand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Putra Brand, The People&#8217;s Choice Awards 2018 awarded KFC Malaysia its fourth consecutive Gold in the Fast Food &amp; Restaurant category and crowned them with one of the most coveted accolades of the night, the Putra Brand Icon Award.<\/p>\n<p>Over 7,000 interviews were conducted in the brand research in Malaysia to determine the country\u2019s most preferred brands.<\/p>\n<p>KFC Malaysia reigned as the #1 people\u2019s choice brand, in the high octane awards night held at the Majestic Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 148 awards were presented including three Putra Brand Icon Awards, during the ceremony which was attended by more than 1,300 guests, from leaders of powerhouse brands, the marketers to agencies<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is indeed a proud moment for KFC Malaysia to receive the Gold Award for the fourth time in a row together with the honour of the Brand Icon Award.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been serving Malaysians Finger Lickin\u2019 Good moments since 1973, our hard work and enthusiasm, supported with our continuous innovations, strategies and service excellence have led to this recognition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUltimately the endorsement from our customer truly says it all,\u201d said QSR Brands managing director, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azahari Mohamed Kamil.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTonight\u2019s achievement does not happen overnight, only with the support of our 18,000 restaurant team members, we are able to deliver the expected customer experience every time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sure both our restaurant and support team will be more motivated with tonight\u2019s splendid achievements as there are no better feelings than to attain the acknowledgement from those who matter to us the most \u2013 our customers,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The brand is on its digital transformation journey and continues to optimise its digital assets as part of its efforts to enhance overall customer experience.<\/p>\n<p>This year saw the launch of KFC Malaysia\u2019s mobile app and \u2018chatbot\u2019 to offer more convenience to the customers for a quick order of freshly prepared KFC to their doorstep.<\/p>\n<p>The brand intends to further strengthen its delivery service through strategic partnerships with leading online delivery service aggregators.<\/p>\n<p>KFC Malaysia is also keeping a dynamic momentum with its nationwide expansion moves as the brand has recently launched its 700<sup>th<\/sup> restaurant in Bandar Seri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan which was officiated by Yum!
