Ee-Lian Enterprise, Malaysian plastic household ware manufacturer signed a strategic cooperation agreement with global specialty chemicals producer Miliken.<\/span><\/p>\n

The agreement was signed to allow Ee-Lian Enterprise to use Miliken\u2019s energy-saving, UL certified Millad NX 8000 clarifier additive, making Ee-Lian the first Malaysian producer that has authorisation to use the UL certified Green Label environmental accreditations on its products.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are really pleased with this new strategic partnership together with Miliken as it deliver improved efficiency and performance benefits to Ee-Lian\u2019s production processes.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut more importantly it also fits with our sustainability and environmental strategy of adopting greener technologies that help reduce the impact of production on the environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis development reflects our commitment to following the national government\u2019s push to more environmentally friendly industry practices and to long-term sustainable development, in which we strive to be and industry leader here in Malaysia,\u201d said Ee-Lian Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd founder cum SWS Capital Berhad group managing director, Datuk Teoh Han Chuan.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cElianware produces over 1,600 varieties of household plastic ware, which is sold both locally and overseas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis remains to be our key driver and we believe that the UL certification will be an added boost to our revenue stream, moving forward as consumers are confident of Elianware\u2019s processes and commitment to better itself and the environment,\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ee-Lian Enterprise, a subsidiary of public listed company SWS Capital is known for its fleet of plastic container products under the brand Elianware which are essential to the daily lives of consumers.<\/span><\/p>\n

By purchasing polypropylene resin, supplied by Malaysian polymer producer Lotte Chemical Titan, that uses Miliken\u2019s MIllad NX 8000 clarifying technology, Ee-Lian will also now be allowed to use the UL certified Green Label on its products.<\/span><\/p>\n
