edotco Malaysia and Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the implementation of Digital Mobile Network Solutions to deliver next generation telecommunication solutions to mobile network operators (MNOs). <\/span><\/p>\n

Under this collaboration, MNOs are set to benefit from a full spectrum of indoor and outdoor mobile network solutions. <\/span><\/p>\n

The two-year MoU leverages on both parties\u2019 expertise to develop viable go-to-market strategies, commercial offerings, technical architecture as well as deployment plans.<\/span><\/p>\n

The MoU was signed in the presence of Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Chairman, Al-Ishsal Ishak and Chief Officer, Communications and Digital\u00a0<\/span>Ecosystem Sector, Dato\u2019 Mohd Ali Hanafiah Mohd Yunus.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the event, edotco Malaysia and Huawei announced that the world\u2019s first multi-operator, multi-<\/span>technology indoor solution developed by them, has been installed in Stesen Sentral Kuala Lumpur (KL Sentral) and went live with all four MNOs in Malaysia on board last month. <\/span><\/p>\n

Celcom, Digi, U Mobile and Maxis have fully integrated into this Small Cells solution that has been deployed and have begun providing enhanced coverage and connectivity for their users passing through KL Sentral.<\/span><\/p>\n

edotco Group Chief Regional Officer, Wan Zainal Adileen remarked, \u201cThe successful transition\u00a0<\/span>from proof of concept at KL Sentral is testament to our commitment to delivering world-class\u00a0<\/span>infrastructure to improve connectivity. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis pioneering project is not only directly responding to increasing data consumption needs, especially in a high traffic location like KL Sentral but more importantly, it is a significant step towards 5G readiness in Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deployed in September, the in-building solution will enhance the mobile user experience of the\u00a0<\/span>thousands of commuters who pass through the concourse of KL Sentral daily. <\/span><\/p>\n
