The baggage allowance for Business Class and its ATR flights remain as 40kg and 15kg respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe business rationale to the adjustment is to keep up with the industry changes and passengers\u2019 demand. This option allows passengers who are cost-sensitive to enjoy more competitive airfare with services that fit their needs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe want to keep our products relevant to the market and bring better flying experience to our passengers,\u201d Malindo Air chief executive officer Chandran Rama Muthy. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The airline will honor passengers who have made a booking before February 15 and flying on or after February 15 to enjoy the original baggage allowance upon booking, as reflected on their flight itinerary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Passengers may top up additional baggage allowance during the booking process, through \u201cManage My Booking\u201d, Malindo Air ticketing offices, customer care centre and the airline\u2019s preferred travel agents. <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malindo Air has introduced new fare benefits to its economy class passengers by adjusting the checked baggage allowance of its Value and Flexi fare options, with effect from 15 February 2019.
