projector brands, sponsored up to RM 23,000 worth of products to Louis Centre for Children with Special Needs, located at Taman Ujong, Seremban.<br \/> \u00a0<br \/> Notably, the star product which comes with the sponsorship includes the Epson EB-1450Ui interactive projector, a contribution to the centre\u2019s unique multisensory teaching approach tailored for the children, and other sponsored products include the latest EcoTank printers and label printers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe spirit of giving has always been embedded in Epson\u2019s Management Philosophy.\u00a0<br \/> \u00a0<br \/> \u201cWe seek to become an indispensable company, an ambition that Epson considers to be consistent with the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.<br \/> \u00a0<br \/> \u201cBecause of this, we based our actions on Epson\u2019s key corporate social responsibility theme, a materiality matrix that identifies important initiatives to resolve social issues,\u201d said Epson Malaysia managing director, Daisuke Hori.<br \/> \u00a0<br \/> Established in 2010, Louis Centre for Children with Special Needs was founded by a married duo, Dr.Rajandran Muthoo, a consultant psychiatrist and his wife Julia Louis, a child psychologist and counsellor.<br \/> \u00a0<br \/> Encouraged by concerning parents from their surrounding neighbourhood, the couple built a one stop centre to provide various special needs therapies to children in need.<br \/> \u00a0<br \/> With up to 20 dedicated full-time employees, the centre caters over 40 kids from all races who mainly are diagnosed with autism and cerebral palsy.<br \/> \u00a0<br \/> \u201cWe have unique teaching approaches to build children\u2019s motor skills development as well as linguistic and reading skills, one of which, is through an interactive and participative class based on a multisensory learning system.<br \/> \u00a0<br \/> \u201cThrough more engaging teaching equipment, such as Epson\u2019s interactive projector, our children will be more enthusiastic to participate in class.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cThe increase in physical movements, such as connecting the dots on a projected image, could also help to sharpen their motor skills \u2013 in turn, assisting with their physical progress in terms of walking, running, and keeping optimal body balance,\u201d said Louis Centre co-founder, Julia Louis.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe saw an opportunity to lend a hand when we learned of the challenges faced to hold a student\u2019s attention in a classroom, especially for those with learning and behavioural issues.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cIntegrating Epson\u2019s interactive projector into their lesson plans will help to intervene these behavioural issues with a twist of creativity and fun.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cIt has been such a pleasure to work with Louis Centre on this meaningful project and we are definitely looking forward to more similar initiatives in the future,\u201d added Epson Malaysia director-Sales &amp;
