Giftee Malaysia Sdb Bhd, a local subsidiary of the eGift service, with headquarters in Japan, has extended its business-oriented eGift sales system also known as \u201ceGift System\u201d to Tealive.<\/span><\/p>\n

Giftee will begin sales of eGifts compatible with Tealive services at more than 200 outlets (excluding AEON Delica and MaxValu outlets) in Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project will be giftee\u2019s first to provide eGift System to local companies in Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tealive, which will implement eGift System, is the leading lifestyle tea brand in Malaysia which serves over 70 varieties of drinks in more than 200 outlets in Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTealive is a relevant brand for egift and that is because our price point is potentially the lowest \u00a0and the most affordable in the market. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt does not cost our customers much to be able to send in a good gesture to their friends or loved ones. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBesides that, a large chunk of our 3 million customers we served across all our stores are mostly young and tech savvy people, I believe this egift in the form of tealive vouchers fits perfectly to their on-the-go lifestyle,\u201d said Loob Holding chief executive officer, Bryan Loo. <\/span><\/p>\n

There are three types of Tealive eGifts available, the RM 6.50 Tealive Drink Voucher, RM 7.50 Tealive Black Diamond Milk Tea Voucher and RM 10 Tealive Cash Voucher.<\/span><\/p>\n

eGifts can be purchased from online purchase portals for various brands and are issued at the time of purchase. <\/span><\/p>\n

The purchaser can then give the eGifts they have purchased to friends and family via SMS, WhatsApp, the other services, allowing for instant gifting with a personalized greeting. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHaving received an eGift unique link, the recipient clicks on it to reveal an eGift ticket, to be flashed from their smartphone at Tealive counters to redeem their drinks. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201ceGift System links to PoS (Point of Sale) and other systems, allowing cashiers to scan the voucher to allow instant redemption.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEach eGift has a unique URL, and unlike tickets or coupons issued on paper, eGifts are validated at the moment of processing via PoS or other systems, setting their status to \u201cused\u201d and thereby preventing repeat use of the corresponding ticket,\u201d explained Giftee chief executive officer, Mutsumi Ota<\/span><\/p>\n

Giftee plans for the rest of the year is to extend the system to approximately 10 Malaysian brands, with targeted gross sales of RM5 million for both business and customer segments this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGiftee is open to collaborate with other retailers such as convenience stores, sports stores and cinemas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are now in talks with three F&B brands for the partnership. To-date, two industrial brands are considering to proceed with the eGift service.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe eGift is a casual gift service which allows customers to send gifts via online easily, along with the sentiment of a little thank you for everyday kindness,\u201d he added. <\/span><\/p>\n
