Pizza Hut Malaysia officiated its 400<\/span>th<\/span> store in Central i-City Shah Alam, marking a brand-new milestone for the No. 1 pizza chain in Malaysia. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

With almost double the stores of its closest competitor, the 400-hut strong pizza chain is also amongst the top two largest food chains in the country, at present. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not just about the opening of a new store, this in fact denotes Pizza Hut\u2019s steadfast growth over the years which has been nothing short of stellar. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe steep growth in earning Malaysians\u2019 love has resulted in incremental revenue through both our physical stores and digital platforms, especially these past two years. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been very promising for both Pizza Hut and the overall QSR Brands, giving us the assurance and confidence that we are on the right track with our expansion strategy!\u201d QSR Brands managing director, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azahari Mohamed Kamil, at the celebration of its hut opening.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt the heart of everything we do, Pizza Hut aims to identify ways for our customers to have easier access to better pizzas and in line with that, Pizza Hut aspires to reach 408 stores by the end of 2019 and is well on its way to open a minimum of 60 new stores in the next three years. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe opening of the new stores will cover untapped regional locations in Sabah, Sarawak, Perak and Penang to further extend Pizza Hut\u2019s offerings to everyone across the country. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis strategic move is aimed to further catapult our growth to greater heights,\u201d said Pizza Hut Restaurants chief operating officer, Loi Liang Tok.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pizza Hut continues to evolve with Malaysians food preferences, and the introduction of its new Fast Casual Delco (FCD) Store as part of its expansion efforts is a reflection of that. <\/span><\/p>\n

The FCD stores are built to cater to the boom in food delivery and provide a revamped casual dine-in experience; all with elevated convenience underpinned by the evolved store design. <\/span><\/p>\n

The store is equipped with fast turnaround back-of-house kitchen systems and semi self-service counter to increase serving speed; be it for dine-in, take away or delivery. <\/span><\/p>\n

An open kitchen concept has also been incorporated to inject a vibrant and delightful experience, offering glimpses of fresh pizzas in the making.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the expansion plans, Pizza Hut in fulfilling its pledge to continue serving the best pizza experience to Malaysians, has enhanced over 50 per cent of its current stores now. <\/span><\/p>\n

Beyond that, the upgraded recipe of its signature Pan Pizza launched late last year has also been a key contributor to its steadfast pan pizza sales. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs Pizza Hut continues to evolve with Malaysians\u2019 needs and preference, we aim to provide our customers with easier access to better pizzas. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe expansion of offerings through our new store format and the enhancements of our existing stores enable us to up our ante in staying relevant and, help us to serve our community better, while offering vibrant dining experiences and staying delightful,\u201d added Datuk Seri Mohamed Azahari.<\/span><\/p>\n
