Founded in 2012, Dostavista is already profitable and will use the funding to continue to focus on product, new bold experiments, more aggressive marketing and sales, and strengthening their global team to make it all happen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Dostavista\u2019s success will help promote same-day delivery as a dominant delivery option, as the company\u2019s annual GMV run rate is currently approaching the USD100 million (MYR400 million) milestone. Dostavista employs almost 400 people with offices and operations in 11 countries including Brazil, India, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Turkey and five countries in ASEAN. The company deploys over one million registered couriers globally and its customers range from individuals to Fortune 500 organizations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Dostavista first forayed into the ASEAN countries in July 2017 with Indonesia carrying the brand\u2019s first \u2018MrSpeedy\u2019 label. A year later, Dostavista picked up the pace with MrSpeedy operations launched in Thailand, Vietnam, Republic of the Philippines and Malaysia, all within the second half of 2018. These countries have shown month-on-month double digit growth and with the new injection of funds, the goal is to dominate the local markets and expand their reach within ASEAN and beyond.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">MrSpeedy Malaysia has been operational for a mere 8 month period and has seen growth of more than 300% in active users since its launch.
