Kuala Lumpur, 26 March 2020<\/em><\/strong> – <\/em>Coway Malaysia is giving away 10,000 sets of \u201cStay Safe\u201d kits consisting of hand sanitisers and masks to GrabFood delivery customers of selected eatery outlets within greater Kuala Lumpur beginning 28 March 2020.<\/p>\n

The CSR initiative to distribute complimentary Coway \u201cStay Safe\u201d kits during the Covid-19 Movement Control Order (MCO) period is in line with its vision of being The Life Care Company, which contributes to the promotion of a healthy and happy life, while approaching customers and society at large with warm-heartedness and kindness.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe echo the call for Malaysians to stay home, stay vigilant and stay healthy. That\u2019s why we\u2019re bringing the masks and sanitisers to your doorstep via GrabFood! To the rakyat<\/em> of Malaysia, we want to assure you that Coway has got you \u2018covered\u2019 in the hour of need\u201d said Kyle Choi Ki Ryong, Managing Director of Coway Malaysia.<\/p>\n

He added that with the MCO in place, the most vulnerable in society namely, individuals with underlying health issues, the elderly and those who are home-bound, are relying greatly on food delivery services to get their daily essentials.<\/p>\n

\u201cBesides the basic necessities like food and water, what most people in Malaysia need right now are hand sanitisers and masks. These items are vital during this period to reduce the risk of exposure to Covid-19 and prevent the transmission of the virus,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Choi added that one \u201cStay Safe\u201d kit will be made available to each of the GrabFood customers for purchases from Salad Atelier Cafe outlets in Sunway Pyramid, KL Eco City, Paradigm Mall, Intermark or The Weld or My Burger Lab outlets in Sunway, Seapark, Bangsar, OUG, Cyberjaya or MyTown (Cheras). The \u201cStay Safe\u201d kits are available on a first-come-first-serve basis while stocks lasts.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are learning from our experience globally. The best way to contain the Covid-19 situation for now is to avoid being exposed to the virus. As Coway\u2019s mission is \u201cHealthy Environment, Happy People\u201d, we believe that a better world is possible when actions \u2013 of any size \u2013 is taken,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
