Kuala Lumpur, May 2020 \u2013<\/b> Touch \u2018n Go eWallet and the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) of Malaysia recently announced a fundraising collaboration for NKF’s underprivileged kidney failure patients. The collaboration between Malaysia\u2019s first non-governmental organisation to offer haemodialysis treatment and Malaysia\u2019s largest e-wallet platform will enable users of this eWallet to contribute towards NKF’S cause.<\/span><\/p>\n

Touch \u2018n Go eWallet users in Malaysia can now scan the QR code on NKF’s website and donate their preferred amount \u2212 with all proceeds donated directly to NKF Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is essential for dialysis patients to come for dialysis treatment 3 times a week to survive. Every year, NKF needs to raise RM26.5 million to subsidise the cost of dialysis treatments for the 1,712 patients at our 27 dialysis centres nationwide. The majority of NKF\u2019s patients are generally from the lower income group, who cannot afford the higher cost at private medical facilities<\/span>. <\/span>So, it is crucial they have access to affordable dialysis treatment,\u201d said Dato’ Dr Zaki Morad Mohamad Zaher, Chairman of NKF Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs an NGO, we are grateful for the support and generosity of Touch \u2018n Go eWallet and its users \u2212 provided through this fundraising campaign. We will ensure that the donations made towards NKF will be used prudently so we can continuously carry out our duties for our patients \u2212 keeping them as healthy as they can be. Together, we can fight this! Together, we can do more for everyone,\u201d he added.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

3 Tap on \u201cScan from Gallery\u201d<\/p>\n

4. Select the QR code<\/p>\n

5. Key in the donation amount you prefer<\/p>\n
