Kuala Lumpur, April 4 – PETRONAS\u2019 first floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility, PFLNG SATU, has achieved a new milestone with the successful loading of its first cargo at the Kanowit gas field, offshore Miri, Sarawak on 1 April, 2017.<\/p>\n
The first cargo was fully loaded onto the LNG carrier Seri Camellia which is expected to set sail for a South Asian market.<\/p>\n

Manned by 145 crew onboard, PFLNG SATU is designed for water-depths of between 70 metres and 200 metres and possesses a processing capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum (mtpa).<\/p>\n
PFLNG SATU will complement PETRONAS\u2019 global LNG portfolio, making it a leader in the FLNG technology and enhancing its reputation as a preferred and reliable LNG supplier.<\/p>\n
