Kuala Lumpur, 13 July 2020<\/b> \u2013 Principal Asset Management Berhad (\u201cPrincipal\u201d) is pleased to launch the Principal Heritage Series (\u201cHeritage Series\u201d) to the Malaysian market. The Heritage Series is a suite of three investment solutions consisting of the Principal Heritage Growth Fund, Principal Heritage Balanced Fund and the Principal Heritage Income Fund (\u201cFunds\u201d). These Funds aim to provide Malaysians with income and capital growth to enhance their retirement savings journey. The Heritage Series will be distributed exclusively through Standard Chartered.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Just like coffee, the Funds come in a variety of \u201cstrengths\u201d to help customers personalise their investments to match their long-term goals and time horizons :<\/span><\/p>\n

The expansion of our offerings with the Heritage Series aims for greater retirement savings participation and access to a wealth of investment expertise, packaged in a convenient solution,\u201d said Munirah Khairuddin, CEO of Principal Asset Management.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEach investor has a different goal, time horizon and comfort level with risk when it comes to investing\u201d, Sammeer Sharma, Head of Wealth Management, Standard Chartered Malaysia said. \u201cThis solution allows our investors to match their investment needs and goals based on how they want their retirement income to be, aligning risk appetites to their preferred portfolio.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The funds will invest at least 95% of their respective net asset value in the corresponding Fullerton SGD Heritage Funds that are managed by Fullerton Fund Management, a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings, and a trusted investment manager for sovereign wealth funds, institutional and retail clients.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Heritage Series invests in assets that many investors may be familiar with, such as Asian credits, Singapore bonds, Asian stocks and Singapore REITS. The underlying Fullerton funds were well-received in the Singapore market since its launch in May 2019, and we are pleased to work with our partners to make the solutions available to Malaysian investors\u201d said Jenny Sofian, CEO of Fullerton Fund Management.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Heritage Series\u2019 base currency is the Singapore dollar and is established with Class MYR-Hedged and Class SGD. For the benefit of investors seeking income, the Heritage Series aims to make a consistent monthly payout.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
