On top of bringing back the Spicy Korean Burger \u2013 which has been a hit since being introduced in 2017 \u2013 McDonald\u2019s is also transforming its Putrajaya Drive-Thru restaurant into \u2018little Seoul&#8217; starting today till 12 August.<\/p>\n<p>Themed \u201cSeoul Experience\u201d, the restaurant will be decked out with lanterns, wall d\u00e9cor, and an outdoor backdrop for customers to drop by for photo opportunities. The restaurant crew will also be wearing Korean traditional outfits to serve customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the years, our \u2018Discover the World\u2019 campaign has always been about offering our customers the chance to experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of different places around the world. This annual campaign has been a great platform for us to showcase our commitment in providing a wide variety of distinct and tasty menu items for Malaysians,\u201d said Melati Abdul Hai, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald\u2019s Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe wanted to fulfil the yearning for travel, and transport our customers to their favourite destinations through our food. That is what we aim to achieve by bringing \u2018Seoul\u2019 to our Putrajaya restaurant \u2013 a true Korean experience right here in Malaysia,\u201d said Melati.<\/p>\n<p>To make the campaign more exciting, McDonald\u2019s Malaysia has also introduced the #McDaebak TikTok Challenge for Malaysians to participate and stand a chance to win McDonald\u2019s cash vouchers. Participants would need to record a video of them taking a bite of the Spicy Korean Burger and show the \u201cDaebak\u201d (awesome) transformation version of themselves to the song \u201cClap\u201d on TikTok. Participants with a valid entry are also entitled to 30% discount on their next Spicy Korean Burger purchase.<\/p>\n<p>The #McDaebak Challenge on TikTok will run until 2 August.
