Petaling Jaya, April 5 \u2013 M3 Technologies (Asia) Bhd, a diversified technology company, through its Indonesian subsidiary PT Surya Genta Perkasa (Mobiletren) has achieved yet another company milestone with the first shipment of 10,000 T-Bike Smart Assistant for Vehicles (T-Bike) devices to Indonesia.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The shipment is part of a 2-year master purchase agreement signed between Mobiletren and Indonesia\u2019s largest mobile operator, Telkomsel in January 2017 to purchase an estimated 285,000 units of T-Bike devices which is valued at IDR160,333,500,000 (approximately RM53,230,722.00).\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are delighted to announce this pivotal milestone for our company as we deliver the first shipment of T-Bike devices to our partner in Indonesia. We look forward to building on this momentum as well as the potential for further distribution agreements covering additional geographies in the future,\u201d said Kevin Ng Chen Lok, General Manager of M3 Technologies (Asia) Berhad.<\/p>\n
He also added, \u201cIn view of this, we will continue to work closely with Telkomsel in research and development efforts to innovate and upgrade the T-Bike app and its functions to improve the effectiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n
T-Bike is an innovative machine-to-machine (M2M) initiative that utilizes an implanted device housing a special SIM card with which vehicle owners can monitor, guide, and control their vehicles directly from a smartphone. The cutting-edge device is designed for seamless plug-in to the vehicle\u2019s wiring harness without the need for cutting or splicing of wires.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The T-Bike application is available on Apple iOS or Google Android and is supported by a sophisticated GPS software and hardware allows for the constant monitoring of location and speed of the vehicle. It also provides access to the engine control unit thus acting as a highly-efficient theft deterrent.\u00a0<\/p>\n
