Kuala Lumpur, May 2 – CIMB Group returns as presenting sponsor of The Color Run in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta for 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n
First launched in 2011, The Color Run is a unique paint race that has been experienced by more than six million runners worldwide in over 40 countries. The un-timed five-kilometre fun run has runners showered in coloured powder and each city features a unique theme.<\/p>\n
The three runs in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Jakarta are expected to attract at least 35,000 runners. Dubbed the \u201cHappiest 5k on the Planet\u201d, the run is not a race, but instead celebrates everyone in pursuit of health, joy, and happiness as winners, whilst bringing the community together.<\/p>\n

The Kuala Lumpur edition of The Color Run is expected to attract 13,000 runners and will take place at Padang Merbok on 13 August 2017. Its \u201cTropicolor\u201d theme will showcase a series of brilliantly coloured zones featuring tropical arches, palm trees, island-style music, and even a ‘beach’.<\/p>\n
