MIG Mobile Tech Berhad, a sister company of MIG Group of Companies has officially launched WECONNECT\u2019s O2O – Scan2Pay, a mobile payment platform, at the Connaught Pasar Malam in Cheras recently.<\/p>\n
The official launch event unveiled Asia\u2019s first digital night market, better known as \u201cPasar Malam\u201d in Malaysia, where over 10,000 guests and 50 vendors had a first-hand experience of Malaysia\u2019s first cashless Pasar Malam with WECONNECT\u2019s Scan2Pay mobile payment application.<\/p>\n
WECONNECT is the first-of-its-kind mobile application in Malaysia designed to facilitate shopping, business and trade (online and offline) transactions, launched in August last year, developed by award-winning entrepreneurs, Datuk Brian Wee and Datuk Stanley Wong.<\/p>\n
Connaught Pasar Malam is the first night market in Malaysia to implement the Scan2Pay mobile payment system. The Scan2Pay technology benefits both the vendors and consumers by providing a cashless payment system, reducing transaction time where the means of paper cash and coins are not required.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Moving forward with Malaysia\u2019s initiative in becoming a cashless society by 2020, MIG Mobile Tech Berhad aims to introduce the WECONNECT mobile application and Scan2Pay feature to all night markets across Malaysia.<\/p>\n
