BRUNEI DARUSSALAM \u2013 <\/strong>Progressture Power (B) Sdn Bhd (\u201cProgressture Solar\u201d) has been appointed as the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations & Maintenance (EPCC & O&M) contractor for a 12 MWp utility-scale solar project developed by Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad in Brunei Darussalam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Under the appointment, Progressture Solar is responsible for the end-to-end delivery and long-term operation of the solar power plant. The facility will supply clean electricity to Hibiscus\u2019 onshore processing plant in Brunei, enabling the integration of low-carbon energy into a high-load, energy-intensive industrial operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As part of the project\u2019s ongoing progress, a groundbreaking ceremony was held at the project site within the Sungai Liang Industrial Park (SPARK), Mukim Liang, Kuala Belait, marking a critical milestone. The ceremony brought together representatives from government agencies, project stakeholders, partners, and industry leaders, highlighting continued collaboration in advancing Brunei\u2019s energy diversification and sustainability efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Beyond delivery, Progressture Solar\u2019s long-term operational role will ensure system performance, reliability, and asset longevity throughout the plant\u2019s operational life. This end-to-end responsibility reflects the company\u2019s focus on lifecycle delivery and sustained performance for complex, energy-intensive industrial environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The project marks Progressture Solar\u2019s first international utility-scale solar project and a significant milestone in the company\u2019s regional expansion beyond Malaysia.
