Rhone Ma \u00a0 Bhd,an end-to-end animal health solution provider as well as a distributor and supplier of food ingredients, has officially broke ground on its new flagship warehouse in Kapar, Klang, Selangor Darul Ehsan.<\/p>\n
The ground-breaking ceremony was led by Rhone Ma\u2019s Group Managing Director, Dr. Lim Ban Keong), and was joined by the members of its Board of Directors. The warehouse is part of its two-year business expansion plan after the Company\u2019s successful listing on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in December 2016.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday, in breaking ground on the new warehouse, we are opening a new chapter in our company history. We view this significant progress as a positive sign of times to come as we look forward to growing in tandem with the industry,\u201d said Dr. Lim at the ceremony.<\/p>\n
The project will comprise one warehouse with an estimated gross floor area of 40,000 square feet and a three-storey office space with an estimated gross floor area of approximately 17,000 square feet. The warehouse, which is expected to be completed at the end of 2018, is intended to cater to the increasing storage needs for both its animal health products and food ingredients. It will also be utilised as the Company\u2019s main distribution centre to facilitate import of the products prior to distribution to its customers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Dr. Lim added, \u201cAt the time being, we are renting three third-party warehouses. Upon completion of the new warehouse, we will be able to progressively reduce the cost of third party logistics rental thus enabling us to channel the extra funds into other growth plans.\u201d<\/p>\n
