Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd, a Bursa Malaysia Main Market listed investment holding Company which comprises subsidiaries that engage primarily in construction, property development and logging and timber, announced that its wholly-subsidiary, Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd had on 26 July 2017 received a letter of acceptance from TYL Land & Development Sdn Bhd for a contract worth RM101.3 million.<\/p>\n
The contract is in respect of \u201cRemaining Building Works and Related External Works for Proposed Commercial Development.\u201d A filing with Bursa Malaysia today shows that the contract period is 27 calendar months commencing from 28 July 2017.<\/p>\n
In a separate filling, FBSB had also on 26 July 2017 received a letter of award from Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn Bhd for a contract worth RM705,000 in respect of the \u201cProposed Apron Line Marking, Access Road Connection and Associated Works at KLIA Air Cargo Terminal 1, KL International Airport, Sepang, Selangor.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The contract period is 120 days commencing from 1 August 2017 to 28 November 2017.<\/p>\n
In both statements, the Company said: \u201cThe award of the both contracts are expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Company for the financial year ending 30 June 2018 onwards.\u201d<\/p>\n
