Kerjaya Prospek Group Berhad announced that its 70%-owned subsidiary company, Future Rock Sdn. Bhd. (FRSB), has on 1 August 2017 accepted a Letter of Award (\u201cLA\u201d) from China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn. Bhd. (CCC) dated 27 July 2017, on the appointment of FRSB as a subcontractor for the reclamation works of the project known as \u201cPerimeter Bund for Phase 2B of the STP2 Project\u201d for a total contract of RM45.9 million.<\/p>\n
Kerjaya\u2019s second infrastructure project win demonstrates the Group\u2019s strong capabilities and extends their portfolio of projects beyond residential high-rise jobs. The Contract is expected to be completed within 10 months from the date of commencement. \u00a0This project is Kerjaya\u2019s fifth contract award for the year and brings the year-to-date contract wins to RM426 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Company was also recently listed as one of five Malaysian companies under the prestigious \u201cBest Under A Billion\u201d (in US$) list for 2017 by Forbes Asia. The list honours the leading listed companies in the Asia Pacific region with annual revenues between US$5 million and US$1 billion which produced the highest sales and earnings per share growth for both the most recent fiscal one and three-year periods, and the strongest five-year average return on equity.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the Group\u2019s recent project award, Kerjaya\u2019s Executive Chairman, Datuk Tee Eng Ho said, \u201cKerjaya Prospek\u2019s outstanding orderbook stands at RM2.6 billion (as at 31 March 2017) and net cash position is at an impressive RM147.08 million.
