The President and CEO of AlloyMtd Group, Tan Sri Dr. Azmil Khalid was awarded Old Putera (OP) of The Year award 2017 at the 47th Annual dinner hosted by the Old Putera Association of Royal Military College at One World Hotel, Bandar Utama last Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Annual Dinner offered opportunity for nearly 1,000 old putera(s)\/alumni members to gather and celebrate their camaraderie; and also provide strength to the executive committee to transform the Royal Military College to a prestigious institution.<\/p>\n
The fundraising occasion sees the progression of the Education Trust Fund, which in the past have assisted many of its alumni members to pursue their academic aspirations. The Guest of Honour Tuan Yang Terutama of Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Haji Abdul Taib bin Mahmud presented a generous contribution to the Education Trust Fund.<\/p>\n
On an annual term, Old Putera Association rewards newly graduated Royal Military College students and children of the alumni members who excel in their respective prerequisite examinations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
With the motto \u2018Serve to Lead\u2019 close to heart, the association takes the driver\u2019s seat in many social responsibilities. I Kasih Old Putera (IKOP) assembles many alumni members who pledged assistance and support to old putera(s)\/alumni members faced with critical illnesses or in need of medical equipment.\u00a0<\/p>\n
