Kuala Lumpur, 16 August- Silentmode Sdn Bhd, the developer of Slurp!, announces that they has recently closed a Series A round of funding amounting to RM 2.5 million.<\/p>\n
The funding which comes from Axiata Digital Innovation Fund (ADIF) is managed by Intres Capital Partners Sdn Bhd, a Kuala Lumpur based venture capital firm.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Slurp! is a customizable cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) system currently offered to F&B retail businesses and they are planning to use the funding to accelerate product sales and marketing, grow its current team as well as explore regional markets for potential expansion in 2018.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Partner of Intres Capital Partners which led the investment into Slurp!, Kamarul Nizam Kassim says that he believes Slurp!\u2019s focus on providing the preferred POS exclusively for F&B retail business will differentiate them from other players in the market.<\/p>\n

Shi-Ying brings more than eight years of global experience in consulting and technology to Slurp! 2 With her former track record in building GrabCar, Malaysia, from the ground up until it became a very sizable business, Reza is confident that Shi-Ying will lead the local and regional expansion as well as partnership for Slurp! to the next level.\u00a0<\/p>\n
