BIMB Holdings Berhad (BHB) recently received three prestigious awards, reflecting the organisation\u2019s continuing excellence in all aspects of its business operations and contributions to the financial industry.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The three awards received include Best Sustainability Strategies and Best Sustainability Report awards at the Asia Sustainability Excellence Awards 2017 event held on 2 August 2017, and Silver (Highest Growth in Profit after Tax over Three Years) award in the Finance Sector (Below RM10 Billion Market Cap) at the The Edge Billion Ringgit Club Corporate Awards 2017 event held on 21 August 2017.<\/p>\n
At the same award ceremony, BHB\u2019s subsidiary, Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Berhad also bags two awards; Silver (Highest Return on Equity over Three Years) and Gold (Highest Return to Shareholders over Three Years) in the Finance Sector (Below RM10 Billion Market Cap).<\/p>\n
\u201cThese achievements truly illustrate our practice of the \u2018Triple Bottom Line\u2019 principle, which calls for social and environmental aspects to be taken into considerations in addition to the company\u2019s financial bottom line,\u201d BHB\u2019s Chief Executive Officer Khairul Kamarudin said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
