Berhari Raya with the chic Samsung Galaxy A33 5G.
Here we go again! Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the most exciting celebration for Malaysians is just around the corner! Malaysia has entered the transition to Endemic, this Hari Raya would be a great time to celebrate and gather with families and more dining moments enjoying homemade festive food. The launch of the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G could not have had a better celebration in place.
Design and Display

My first impression of a smartphone always starts with its body design and display. Samsung Galaxy A33 has an appealing slim body design with a matte frame, and it’s very lightweight which gives a nice feeling to hold since it's well built with durable plastic material. I got the colour pastel blue with me which I think is the most pleasantly attractive among the other colour ranges they offered like black, white and peach.
The only drawback with this matte body material is that it will get dirty easier. However, that is not a big deal as you could get a nice transparent casing to still show off the colour of the phone. Since the display comes with an AMOLED panel, the moment I turned on the screen, the colours were bright and vibrant which made the display clear even in the bright sunlight. Just like any other Samsung smartphone, it comes with a touch home screen. Although, the 6.4-inch screen size is quite huge for me it seems like a typical and ideal size for a smartphone in 2022.
Camera

I pay attention to its camera for the next evaluation. The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G consists of a four rear-camera slightly sticking out from its back body. The main camera is supported with a 48MP resolution, a 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor to give you the perfect bokeh shots. I have tried these four cameras and all I can say is that I was impressed by how sharp the camera resolution is from the wide lens to the macro lens. Although the photos tend to appear in a warmer tone, it gives you well-detailed and less noisy video and photo quality. The optical image stabilisation (OIS) features do help someone with a shaky hand when taking a selfie or videos like me.

Battery capacity
The Samsung Galaxy A33 has a big battery capacity of 5,000mAH which is big enough to serve you for one-day battery life even if you watch a movie or play games all day. As a light user that only spends time scrolling through social media or doing a simple task on the phone, the battery could last up to two days!
Processor, performance, and storage
Regarding the chipset performance, I have yet to discover how well the new Exynos 1280 perform still and all. Exynos 1260 chipset is said to be helping to boost the performance and add extra features to the camera which include improved portrait mode, night mode and portrait lighting which explain a lot of why the photos and videos turned pretty sharp even in a low exposure. Exynos 128 processor also could handle a 90Hz refresh rate to ensure there won't be any frame drop of lagging while using the smartphone. Hence, this device is a great deal for mobile gamers to play games as smooth as it can be. The Galaxy A33 only has one storage capacity, 128G which is big and sufficient enough space to store your files and mobile apps.
Final verdict
Overall, it is a good and relevant mid-range device out in the market. I can say that the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is expected to be loved by people who use social media a lot, for mobile gamers and people who take good photos or videos. It has a bigger display, nice body material, lightweight, better camera and most importantly it is an excellent budget smartphone in 2022. Hence, this incredible Samsung smartphone, Galaxy A33 5G, is worth splurging on at only RM 1,499. The phone is now available for purchase at any Samsung Malaysia Store or any of its authorised dealers.
Don’t forget to share your Hari Raya moments visiting families and friends enjoying your ketupat, rendang, kuih raya and during the duit raya giveaway sessions on every social media you have using the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G.
