Honda Malaysia (or the Company) today officially unveiled the New Civic, marking an exciting step forward in the C-segment sedan market. This launch introduces advanced technology, including Google Built-In, bold design updates and the advanced hybrid performance of Honda. The New Civic combines advanced features with Honda’s legacy of exceptional styling and engineering.

We are starting the year on a positive outlook with the introduction of the New Civic today which will bring this legacy to the next level with its advanced powertrain and seamless connectivity, transforming every drive into a remarkable journey.”
The New Civic delivers a dynamic road presence with distinct design elements. The e:HEV RS features body-coloured front grille extensions and lower grille garnishes, complemented by bold 18-inch Matte Grey Alloy Wheels. Meanwhile, the Petrol RS showcases black-painted grille accents for a sporty appeal. Across all variants, a sleek black taillight extension enhances its modern design while RS variants receives a new RS emblem.
Under the hood, two advanced powertrains ensure a superior driving experience. The e:HEV RS is powered by a 2.0L e:HEV powertrain, delivering a maximum power of 184PS and 315Nm of torque, paired with an Electric Continuous Variable Transmission (e-CVT) offering superior hybrid performance and efficiency that are a class above. The Petrol RS features a 1.5L VTEC Turbocharged engine, providing a maximum power of 182PS and 240Nm of torque, offering the thrill and excitement of driving.
The New Civic redefines interior sophistication and comfort, offering several first-in-segment enhancements. The Google Built-In allows users to access Google Assistant for hands-free commands, real-time navigation through Google Maps, and access to a variety of apps via Google Play, ensuring a connected and personalized experience. The e:HEV RS variant features red colour inserts and a refreshed pattern for its combination leather upholstery, offering a sporty yet refined aesthetic.
Meanwhile, drivers can experience seamless driving with real-time traffic updates and manage Air Conditioning controls through Google Assistant, all without taking their eyes off the road. Across all variants, drivers benefit from a 9-inch Advanced Display Audio system with Wireless Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ connectivity, alongside USB Type-C ports for versatile charging. For RS variants, a wireless charger further enhances convenience. Setting the e:HEV RS apart are exclusive features including the sophisticated 10.2-inch TFT Meter and a convenient key card, offering an elevated ownership experience.

Engineered for an optimal Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) performance, the New Civic e:HEV RS combines Active Noise Control (ANC) with Active Sound Control (ASC) to effectively reduce external noise while enhancing engine sound, creating a serene yet exhilarating drive. Other features included in the New Civic are Honda LaneWatch, Multi-Angle Rear View Camera, Walk Away Auto Lock, Remote Engine Start and Driver Attention Monitor.
The New Civic provides customers with a choice of five attractive colours. Available for the first time in Civic is Canyon River Blue Metallic, joining the line-up of Platinum White Pearl*1, Ignite Red Metallic*1, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, and Crystal Black Pearl. In addition, the New Civic comes equipped with a standard Solar and Security Film, offering customers the convenience and safety of a hassle-free pre-installed tint.
