Carabat AI Opens First Experience Outlet in Wangsa Maju to Champion Smart Living in Malaysia
Carabat AI, a Malaysian technology innovator dedicated to smart living solutions, on 15th October 2025 officially opened its first experience outlet at Sunway Avila Avenue, Wangsa Maju. The grand opening ceremony was officiated by Yang Teramat Mulia Dato’ Johan Pahlawan Lela Perkasa Sitiawan Dato’ Muhammed bin Hj. Abdullah, who attended as Guest of Honour.
The event marks an important milestone for the brand, providing a space for visitors to experience the full potential of smart living through AI-driven home and lifestyle technology.
During the launch event, Carabat AI unveiled its hero product, a new line of smart home and kitchen appliances designed to integrate seamlessly with the company’s proprietary Astana App. The app was developed to simplify the management of multiple smart devices, addressing common challenges where devices are often incompatible or require multiple apps.
By serving as the central platform of Carabat AI’s ecosystem, the Astana App enables users to automate, monitor, and personalise devices such as air solutions, smart switches, home and kitchen appliances, and CCTV and security systems, all from a single, intuitive interface.
“Carabat AI was built with Malaysians in mind, yet designed to global standards,” said Shafiq Jailani, Chief Executive Officer of Carabat AI during the press conference.
“The Astana App and our smart appliances are more than just products. They form a complete ecosystem that brings smart living to life in Malaysian homes. Today’s launch allows visitors to see how technology can seamlessly enhance comfort, convenience, and everyday living,” he added.
The outlet also features interactive zones where visitors explored Carabat AI’s range of offerings. AI and smart wearables, including smart glasses, rings, and health-tracking devices, were displayed alongside the integrated smart home ecosystem, allowing visitors to interact with the technology and experience its practical benefits firsthand.
At the press conference, Perakash Nair, Marketing Manager of Carabat AI, said the brand aims to strengthen its market presence by expanding to 15 experience outlets across major Malaysian cities within the next one year.
“This experience outlet marks the first step in our nationwide rollout strategy. We are projecting a 30% year-on-year growth as consumer adoption of smart home technology continues to rise. By providing accessible and practical smart living innovations, we believe Carabat AI can play a major role in shaping Malaysia’s smart living future.”
In addition to the Wangsa Maju outlet, Carabat AI will open three more experience outlets in Sri Hartamas, Penang, and Kota Bharu on the same day. The company is also planning additional outlets in Wisma Sabah, Seremban 2, and Subang, which are targeted to open in November. These new locations will continue the company’s mission to provide Malaysians with hands-on access to innovative, smart living solutions.
Founded with a vision to make smart living accessible, practical, and user-friendly, Carabat AI combines Malaysian-led design with global manufacturing standards. Carabat AI defines itself as a smart living specialist — creating technology that enhances everyday comfort, connectivity, and convenience. The experience outlet offers visitors a hands-on opportunity to explore a connected ecosystem of smart solutions, positioning the brand as a pioneer in smart living innovation in Malaysia.
At the Wangsa Maju outlet, customers can look forward to the “Spin the Wheel” activity, offering them the chance to take home exciting prizes. With every purchase above RM100 in a single receipt, customers will be entitled to one spin. The activity will be available whilst stocks last.
