Samsung unveiled new addition to their Galaxy J series, Galaxy J8 and J6 which boasts an outstanding display that will act as a new window to the world of its users.
“The Galaxy J8 and J6, packed with compelling upgrades to its display, camera functions and performance, will certainly meet the needs and bring value to young smartphone users.” said Samsung Malaysia Electronics president Yoonsoo Kim.
He also added that they are confident that the features offered by both the Galaxy J8 and J6 are sure to be the ideal companions that millennials can rely on to get the most of their day.
Galaxy J8’s 6-inch HD+ screen and J6’s 5-6-inch HD+ screen are designed with Infinity Display and equipped with Samsung’s Super AMOLED display technology to give users 15 per cent more display area for a more immersive viewing experience.
The Infinity Display is made of premium polycarbonate and is designed ergonomically to sit nicely in the palm, giving users a more comfortable grip.
On the imaging front, the Galaxy J6 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.9 and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/1.9. Both front and rear cameras are accompanied by a single LED flash.
In the meantime, the Galaxy J8 has a dual camera setup on the back, with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth-of-field effects.

With Samsung’s flagship ‘Live Focus’ feature, users can easily adjust the before and after photo to get the professional ‘bokeh’ effect.
Available in three colour variants, purple, black and gold, both Galaxy J8 and J6 integrate a real-life selfie focus and a Front LED flash that are suitable to take selfies day or night.
Both Galaxy J8 and J6 has an excellence Octa-core processor making the deliver of performance is powerful.
Furthermore, they feature a storage capacity of 32GB, which is expandable to up to 256GB, and a 3GB RAM memory.
In addition, the AR sticker allows users to personalise the pictures they take and instantly share them with their friends and family.
The new Galaxy J8 and J6 are available for purchase at all Samsung Experience stores and the Samsung Malaysia Online Store at a recommended retail price of RM999 and RM749 respectively.
