Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) has announced the income distribution of Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad’s (ASNB) unit trust fund ASN Imbang (Mixed Asset Balance) 1 (ASN Imbang 1, formerly known as Amanah Saham Nasional 3 Imbang), for the financial year ending 30 November 2018.
The income distribution for the unit holders of ASN Imbang 1 is 4.75 sen per unit, amounting to a total payout of RM61.8 million, which will benefit over 46,000 unit holders with 1.30 billion units.
This also translates into a financial year to date dividend yield of 5.01%. As at 31 October 2018, ASN Imbang 1 recorded a net realised income of RM62.70 million for the first 11 months of its financial year.
PNB Group Chairman, Tan Sri Dr. Zeti Aziz said, “Despite current market headwinds, PNB is pleased to deliver competitive dividend to the unit holders of ASN Imbang 1. We are committed to executing the necessary strategies to drive performance and sustained returns as we strive to achieve our mandate of generating wealth for our unit holders.”
The calculation of the income distribution for ASN Imbang 1 is based on the units held and the Net Asset Value thereof as at 30 November 2018. The distribution declared will be re-invested as additional units into the accounts of unit holders and will be automatically credited into unit holders’ accounts on 1 December 2018.
All transactions for ASN Imbang 1 have been suspended from 30 November 2018 to 1 December 2018 to facilitate the calculation of income distribution. Unit holders will be able to check and update their accounts through ASNB’s portal myasnb.com.my or at any ASNB branches or agents nationwide beginning 2 December 2018.
