Silverlake announces integration of its Silverlake SaaS Digital Banking with Microsoft Azure for a new financial services solution. The integration takes advantage of Microsoft Azure’s ability to run IBM Power Systems, IBM i and x86 Virtual Machines technologies. Clients will benefit from the dual advantage of Azure (high availability, scalability and security) and Silverlake’s proven SaaS Digital Banking, Card and Payment Solutions.
Silverlake SaaS Digital Banking, Card and Payment on cloud is anchored on Silverlake’s fully functional flagship banking solutions. The out-of-box solution is supported by an agile and robust host system, powered by a java front end and is mobility ready.
Inherent to the Application Architecture is a configurable, modular and API based design. This facilitates a relatively quick deployment of a solution that can natively fit into a digital eco-system. It fulfils all the digital banking needs from deposits including term and fixed deposits, personal lending, cards and payments with real-time online customer on-boarding capabilities.

The SaaS Digital Banking is provided under a Managed Services model which will enable the client to concentrate on its core business and customer service offerings. Under this model, Silverlake will undertake the end-to-end responsibilities for the Digital Banking solution with help from Microsoft, including cloud infrastructure and security, IT operations, compliance and regulatory requirements.
This offers a viable alternative pathway for banks to modernise and fully participate in the digital economy.
