Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi launched the JOB MATCHING PTPTN at a ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN).
Job Matching is a collaborative initiative between PTPTN and Prestariang Berhad to directly benefit PTPTN borrowers seeking jobs or greater opportunities to elevate their employment value. Under this strategically drawn initiative, Phase one of the collaboration will begin with Job Matching as the pilot programme targeted at upskilling and reskilling of current PTPTN borrowers.
This programme will launch the PTPTN borrowers to the job markets through a ‘Place & Train’ model where it will include job matching to industry requirements through talent profiling and a series of soft skills and communications training.
PTPTN borrowers can apply to be part of the Job Matching programme through www.jobmatchingptptn.my from today onwards.
“Job Matching is the first of its kind where our existing borrowers will first be provided with a job that matches to industry requirements through a stringent talent profiling and thereafter training to enhance their potentials and employability.
“This will provide immediate job opportunities to seekers and vice versa, provide immediate suited talents to the employment market.
“This will set to increase employment rate and boost the country’s economy,” said chairman of PTPTN, Datuk Dr Shamsul Anuar Hj Nasarah.
Prestariang president and Group chief executive Dr. Abu Hasan Ismail shared that Prestariang’s role is to host Job Matching under our end to end student digital engagement platform, Educloud.
EduCloud is a Single Services-Based Digital Plaftorm to support Learning, Engagement and Innovation in Education in Malaysia & ASEAN.
