EMAS Fintech South East Asia (SEA) First Regional Support Centre in Malaysia

MANILA, Philippines, Aug. 24, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- EMAS Fintech Inc CS201953873 (EFI) today announced the opening of its first Regional Support Centre in Malaysia to support its expansion and capitalise on the full potential of investment trading in the region.

Located in Malaysia, the EFI South East Asia (SEA) Regional Support Centre will support and offer the benefits of EFI's cross-industry digital investment trading platform to regional investors. The centre will assist to integrate and aggregate investments, right size portfolios, provide access to wider industry data, apply predictive analytics to generate insights which can improve investment performance and productivity.

Kenanga Group Triples Q2 Profit Before Tax

Kuala Lumpur, 24 August 2020 – Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad (“Kenanga Group”) today announced its second quarter financial results (“2Q20”). Profit before tax ("PBT") stood at RM25.9 million, an increase of three folds from same period last year.

Kenanga Group registered a net income of RM170.1mil for the quarter under review, a 46% hike from corresponding period last year, mainly contributed by increased brokerage fees, trading and investment income as well as management fee income. It also recorded a share of profits from its joint venture company, Rakuten Trade and a reversal of credit loss provision.
