Petaling Jaya, 27 August 2020 - Honda Malaysia (or the Company) chalked up an encouraging record with over 920 units of the 10th Generation Accord booked since its launch in February this year. The 1.5L VTEC Turbocharged Premium (TC-P) is the most popular variant with a contribution of 78% to the total bookings to-date. To top it off, close to 500 units of the newly-launched executive sedan have been delivered to customers nationwide. The Accord has retained its No.1 position in the D-segment in the first half of 2020 with a market share of 40%*.
In terms of colour preference, the brand-new colour, Platinum White Pearl, was the favourite colour among Accord owners, accounting for 33% of the total bookings. As for the regional sales, the Central region contributed the highest number of bookings with 42% of the total bookings, followed by good acceptance in Southern region and Northern region at 23% and 19% respectively.
