Kuala Lumpur, Feb 21 – South East Asia’s exhibition dedicated to commercial vehicles, the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MCVE) will be held at the Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) from 18th to the 20th of May 2017 with the theme of ‘Connected Mobility’.

This year’s MCVE will see an exhibition space being occupied by past exhibitors as well as new ones such as Chevron Malaysia, CIMC Vehicles (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and a range of service providers from the transportation and logistics industry.

One of the supporting partners of this year’s MCVE, Association of Malaysian Hauliers (AMH), President Nazari Hj Akhbar says, “We hope through the various innovations on connected mobility showcased in the expo, hauliers and fleet operators will learn how they can leverage new technology to achieve fuel savings, plan routes better and increase overall efficiency of their operations.”

“Safer vehicles and roads will continue to be our key focus as the nation progresses into an age of connectivity and mobility. I am delighted to know that this area will receive strong emphasis during the expo,” adds the Director General of the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), Professor Dr. Wong Shaw Voon.

This year’s MCVE will feature a Rest and Relax (R&R) area sponsored by Guardian South East Asia, where visitors can enjoy light refreshments while having discussions with their business contacts.

“We are seeing increased interest from exhibitors and participants to use the event as a platform for knowledge exchange. There will be various opportunities to share at this expo,” says Stefan Pertz, Editor of the Asian Trucker and Asian Buses magazines, and Organizer of the MCVE.
