Nothing defines the uniqueness of being a Malaysian more than our passion for durians. In celebration of Malaysia’s 60th National day, a home-grown restaurant chain, Sepiring, is introducing three new offerings that have been inspired by the King of Fruits!
The flagship of this trio of durian delights is the Durian Laksa, which offers a tantalising medley of fragrant herbs and spices combined perfectly with the aromatic and unique flavour of the durian. With the Durian Laksa, Sepiring has successfully blended two tradition Malaysian favorites into one exquisite dish!
Specially concocted to accompany the Durian Laksa is the Durian Coffee, available hot and cold. The rich coffee flavour, is delicately matched with a hint of durian to provide a flavourly after-taste that promises to keep one asking for more.
And not forgetting dessert, Sepiring has bought together Malaysia’s rode -side dessert marvel, the cendol, together with a well-known household delight, the dodol, in its beautifully crafted Dodol Durian Cendol. Served cold with ice-shavings, a variety of typical cendol delights along with dodol durian, the dessert is topped off with a scoop of fresh durian.
TCRS restaurants Sdn Bhd Chief Operations Officer, Wong Kah Yong says that Sepiring has always been offering an exciting variety of authentic recipes from all corners of Malaysia. They decided to embrace the durian for this significant 60th National Day celebration because Malaysians love for durian knows-no-bounds. This is what makes us truly unique, regardless of our race, religion or heritage.
“After only two years since our opening, we will be celebrating the launch of our fifth restaurant in DPULZE Shopping Centre in Cyberjaya in two weeks. We aim to open a total of 5 restaurants by the end of 2018,” she adds.
Sepiring restaurants are currently located in Mid Valley Megamall, The Mines, IOI City Mall and Sunway Putra Mall. Sepiring is JAKIM HALAL certified.
