Bandar Utama, March 8 – Southeast Asian travel content producer, GOASEAN and tonton, Media Prima’s homegrown video streaming service, signed a memorandum of understanding yesterday as part of the ASEAN@50 strategic expansion plan to widen its audience. 

Through this partnership, tonton’s VIP subscribers will be able to gain insights and delve deep into the hidden treasure of Southeast Asia through the different travel programmes showcased on the GOASEAN channel starting April 2017. 

With over 6.6 million users with 18,000 new members weekly, tonton offers a full library content of over 23,000 hours which includes catch-up, exclusive LIVE events and premium channels. 

Director of tonton & Licensing and Merchandising, Airin Zainul said tonton users who are consumed by wanderlust will now have something extra to look forward to as they will have the privilege of watching these travel shows on the go.
