Inspired by Malaysians’ love for all things Korean, McDonald’s Malaysia launched ‘Discover the World’ campaign this year with the all-new Spicy Korean Burger. Available nationwide from 25 July to 23 August 2017, the limited time offering of the Spicy Korean Burger will kick off this year’s three menu items that promise to introduce distinctive flavours from selected regions around the world to McDonald’s Malaysia restaurants.
According to Managing Director of McDonald’s Malaysia, Azmir Jaafar, the new burger offer customers the chance to experience the fiery taste and drama of a spicy Korean sauce smothered over a kimchi-seasoned juicy, grilled beef patty topped with mixed crunchy vegetables and all sandwiched between a striking warm black charcoal bun.
“Riding on the success of our special edition burgers when we introduced the ‘Discover the World’ campaign last year, we are delighted to once again share with our customer’s new flavoursome products inspired by the tasted and customs of the communities we serve worldwide,” he added.
“We look forward to customers enjoying the unique Korean kimchi taste of this limited time offer burger. Last year, we had an overwhelming response when we introduced the Rio Burger, Burger Syok and Hawaiian Deluxe. Indeed, McDonald’s customers are huge fans of special edition products with an international touch and our ‘Discover the World’ campaign allows us to share the various exciting flavours and menus with our customers by bringing the flavours of the world to Malaysia,” added Azmir.
As with any new and existing menu item, McDonald’s takes pride in its food preparation at every touch point- from farm to supplier to its kitchen and finally to its customers. McDonald’s believes that good food goes beyond simply good taste. Besides feeling good eating McDonald’s food, customers can also be assured of the freshest produce and best quality ingredients as well as compliance with Halal and stringent food hygiene standards.
The all-new Spicy Korean Burger is available at RM12.99 for an ala carte and TM15.99 for a regular meal set, comprising a Korean Burger, criss-cut fries & Frozen Fanta.
