ANZO Holdings Bhd announced that it has entered into a collaboration agreement with DVM Innovate Sdn Bhd (“DVM”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Key Alliance Group Bhd, for the development and enhancement of its RM420million estimated gross development value (GDV) project in Petaling Jaya to include a e-commerce Fulfillment Hub.
This move is designed to take advantage of the growing requirement of the consumer markets to have last mile access of e-commerce transactions.
The collaboration between the two public listed companies, ANZO and Key Alliance Group, to pool their resources to create the state of the art, digitized fulfillment hub, which will cater for small orders and provide small businesses, sole traders an easy solution to handle the logistic of the trade, such as to export their products.
This venture is in line with the Government led incentive of the Digital Free Trade Zone (DTFZ), and will help to push the local economy to tap into the e-commerce market.
On the March 22, 2017, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced the launch of the Digital Free Trade Zone, together with Alibaba Group and the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
ANZO has recently signed an agreement between its subsidiary Harvest Court Properties Sdn Bhd (HCP) and Captivate Max Sdn Bhd end of May, to jointly develop a 2.87acre plot of land along the Federal Highway in Petaling Jaya.
Key Alliance Group Bhd and its wholly owned subsidiary DVM, is in the midst of completing its acquisition of Progenet Sdn Bhd, which will give its subsidiary a high level Systems Implementation and Project Management skillset within the ICT sector to provide the relevant know-how to deliver a digitized E-Commerce Fulfillment Hub that befits today’s and future requirements.
ANZO Holdings Berhad’s Managing Director, Datuk Eddie Chai said the existence of this e-commerce hub is essential for the growth and continuous expansion of the local e-commerce industry.

This state of art e-commerce hub will soon be equipped with the fulfillment part, often has been a big challenge for small business venturing into online business. The potential revenue of such a Hub is extensive, given that there are various areas of focus, such as logistics management, GPS tracking, last mile delivery, forwarding and warehousing, e-payment solutions and crypto-currency capabilities amongst them.
