BOK Marketing Sdn.Bhd., a subsidiary company of Bookoff Corporation Limited and is the largest pre-loved shop chain in Japan, will open second pre-loved shop named ‘Jalan Jalan Japan’ at ‘1 Shamelin Mall’ in Kuala Lumpur on 30 September.
November 2016, BOK Marketing Sdn.Bhd. opened its first pre-loved shop named ‘Jalan Jalan Japan’ (also known as ‘JJJ’) at Skypark One City in Subang Jaya.
Sales floor area is approximately 25,000 square-feet, the largest pre-loved shop in Southeast Asia.
JJJ deals with pre-loved goods across a wide range of categories, including Apparel (clothes, bags, shoes), Miscellaneous household goods, Baby goods, Toys, Hobbies, Sporting goods, Instruments, Furniture, Accessories etc. All goods are sold at reasonable prices.
Bookoff Corporation Limited, the parent company of Bok Marketing Sdn.Bhd., the largest preloved shop chain operating over 800 shops in Japan, purchases over 400 million pieces of goods from customers and sells over 300 million pieces of goods to customers annually. So, all goods that JJJ deals are imported from Japan.
‘Jalan Jalan’ is a Malay phrase which means ‘going for a walk’. We named ‘Jalan Jalan Japan’ for expecting that customers can enjoy shopping like being in Japan.
Incorporating three concepts, ‘Preloved in Japan’ (means ‘Good Quality’), ‘Harga giler’ (this Malay word means ‘Crazy Low Price’), ‘Large quantity’ (means ‘Treasure Hunting’), the company hopes JJJ will be a place where customers can enjoy shopping with their family), and a place that customers choose first when buying life goods that provide ‘Smart Life’.
